Marathon Employees in the Houston Tower Early Dismissal
Dec 4
Due to a winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service for the Houston/Galveston region, Marathon employees in the Houston Tower will have an early dismissal at 11:30 a.m. today, Friday, Dec. 4.
A winter storm warning for heavy snow means that winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast. Melting and refreezing of water on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses will create patches of black ice, which is virtually invisible on the road surface and can be dangerous. Employees are encouraged to take precautionary measures and preparedness actions to ensure safety.
Normal business operations are expected to resume Monday, Dec. 7.
Updates will be provided as appropriate via the Marathon Oil Company Employee Information Line at 713-296-4498 or 1-800-592-0296, and via www.marathoncares.com.
