Weather Advisory--Freeze Warning for Southeast Texas
Dec. 3, 3 pm
As of Thursday, December 3, The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the following 17 counties, including Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Jackson, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Walker, Waller, Washington and Wharton from 6 a.m. Friday until 12 a.m. Saturday. The watch includes areas just north and west of Houston. These areas could be the first to see snow accumulation according to local weather reports.
While the Houston facility is currently in normal business operations mode, employees are advised to take precautionary measures as appropriate. The National Weather Service has placed all of Southeast Texas under a Freeze Warning, effective until 9 a.m. Saturday.
